The Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a global, marketing leading SaaS company based in London. With ambitious growth plans, they’re looking to extend their sales functions across the US and UK; this position with play an integral role in shaping the mid to long term sales strategy in the UK as the company continues to expand.
This will suit a dynamic, driven Business Development Manager with a background in selling SaaS solutions and proven experience of exceeding targets through new logo acquisition. Experience in PropTech / selling to Commercial Real Estate will highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:Running end-to-end sales life-cycle
Proactive approach to lead generation
Creating and delivering Sales and Account Business plans
Closing new business and growing accounts to maximize their potential (75%/25% split)
Work closely with Marketing, presales and technical teams
Represent the organisation at events, promoting their SaaS solutions
Key Skills/Experience required:Proven experience as a Business Development Manager with a background in SaaS (PropTech is highly desirable)
Proven experience of new logo acquisition/exceeding financial targets
Experience of working on multiple high value accounts (£2,500 – £5,000 MRR)
Proven experience of achieving financial targets and KPIs
Demonstrable experience of creating business/sales plans
Inquisitive, consultative and proactive approach to creating new opportunities and closing business – ideal candidates will have a ‘can-do-think-outside-the-box’ approach
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + Double OTE (uncapped commission) + company benefits
Location: Blend of travel to client site (UK Wide), office (Central London) + some home working
