Senior Estate Agent as Co-founder of Proptech

Senior London residential estate agent needed for a purpose-driven company that wants to use freelancers and Proptech to transform the industry. ABOUT PROPERTALIS We’re have launched a business to connect London property owners directly with highly skilled and motivated freelance estate agents. High Street and online agencies are all good at marketing and sales, but the quality of their service is variable and it’s hard for consumers to tell the good from the bad until it’s too late. We believe many agencies don’t pay their agents enough to attract and retain the best talent and don’t incentivise them to get the best results for their clients. People are basically entrusting their most valuable asset to a somewhat unskilled and unmotivated agent! We believe the most experienced and skilled agents should go freelance. They will be highly motivated by the prospect of earning all of their client’s commission. Clients can choose exactly who they want to work with. They can get excellent service and results, without paying any more than they would on the High Street. Our platform helps clients hire the right freelance agent to sell, let or manage their property. It also uses technology to support the whole sales or letting process, simplifying tasks and keeping them both fully informed every step of the way. The two current co-founders are both working full-time on this opportunity, although one of them also runs a successful property management business. Their backgrounds are in real estate, law, software, sales and product management. But we’re both generalists, who are incredibly energised by the potential of this business. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a third person to join us as a co-founder and partner in the business. As a senior estate agent with a proven track record, you will help us to launch the business and close the first deals in SW London. Working with us, you will: • Build the marketing machine to find customers who love what we are doing • Build the recruiting machine to find the best agents for them • Build a network of property owners in SW London • Coach our agents to get the best results for their clients • Organise and host events for the property, Proptech and investor community • Build partnerships with key players in the London property community • Build and execute the plan for the rest of London and beyond Your package will be a mix of salary, commission and equity, depending on your profile and preference, and will only grow once we get serious funding. Above all, though, this is an opportunity for you to co-found a business that unleashes the potential of all the best estate agents in the market. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for a senior estate agent with several years experience and a proven track record in London. Chemistry is a big thing for us, so we’re looking for someone who is passionate about Proptech and really shares our vision. You don’t have to be a freelance agent, but you should like the idea of going freelance yourself and convincing many others to do the same.
