We are now looking for two Senior Surveyors to join our team. The current COVID-19 outbreak means the successful candidate will initially be expected to work from home. Going forward, the role will be office based, although a great deal of flexibility including some home working will be permitted.

The Role
As a Senior Surveyor, you will support the Head of Corporate Asset Management (CAM) in ensuring the delivery of first-class Property and Estate Management services for the Council’s operational estate.
Corporate Asset Management is a key service, responsible for management of the Council’s property portfolio including operational buildings such as offices and the community buildings estate.
You will manage your own caseload of work within our busy team environment delivering exceptional services across the Council and working with minimal supervision on your own initiative.
About You
To be considered as a Senior Surveyor, you will need:
– To be a qualified chartered surveyor
– A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience, some of which will ideally be within the public sector
– The ability to take on your own caseload
– The ability to work with minimal supervision in a busy team
For one of the posts, the successful candidate will need to be a registered valuer.
A basic DBS check will be carried out for these posts.
