One of Manchester’s rising stars in the PropTech industry is looking for a Lead Developer to join their team on a permanent basis at their new Manchester city-centre offices.
The successful Lead Developer will be heading up a smaller-division within the Engineering department – initially starting with a large scale application and site build. The business is currently going through a period of extensive growth on a national scale, meaning it is a very exciting time to join the business and unrivalled progression potential.
Responsibilities of the successful Lead Developer:
Cover all aspects of the development on a variety of large-scale, business-critical applications
Using a technical voice to help them influence the decision-making process, whilst also liaising with clients
Support and maintenance of existing code.
Contributing to regular stand-ups, retrospectives and demos (internally and with clients)
Working well in a team, supporting junior staff when needed and exploring new tech
Skills / Experience required for the successful Lead Developer:
Expert knowledge of Vue.JS
Good understanding of Node
Strong knowledge of GraphQL & MySQL
Any experience working with Laravel and GraphQL would be a huge advantage
Experience of TDD and working in an Agile/Scrum environment
